RP vs O's

after some random thinking about O levels, it suddenly struck me that life in RI had been far too easy, sure the workload was heavy, the projects were endless and the assignments countless. but as long as we did them, be it with our best efforts or merely scrapping through, we got pretty good grades and can move on to RJ. even for those who didn't do very well, as long as they got a pass, free ticket to RJ.

thinking back to the day we got our HCL results, ppl were screaming in joy when they saw their Cs and Ds, ppl were even clapping when the hod announced that our overall HCL result is the 2nd best in 10 years, counting from the back.

then i think about the other ppl in the other schs, working so hard for their Os, and not being able to enter the good jcs with the lack of A1s. our life is just too easy. i wonder how many RI ppl will actually be able to get into RJ if we had taken O levels instead. they may say that because of RP we are not prepared for Os, so naturally we wouldn't do so well. but will RP prepare us better for the future, or will it make us lose the motivation to work hard?

maybe i should start studying much harder and stop playing around so much. sorry to all those O lvl students who may deserve a place in RJ more than us but can't get in =(

so, time to go do my maths homework *mug mug*
