Quinten closes his eyes. This is all rubbish, he thought to himself.
In a moment of brilliance, he found himself once more - bound tightly in a strait jacket, standing in the middle of a confined room with no windows. He thought about the ridiculous identity he had just assumed and all the things that happened. All but mere creations of the mind.

With that, Quinten packs his lecture materials and prepares to leave the lecture hall.
Since the story is screwed up..and no one bothers liao..n i hv nthing better to do, or rather want to do...i've decided to end the story in wad is probably,...one of the most crappiest way....at least it is better den him fight clsmate and den kena killed rite?? lol...hmm....mayb the clsmate is his true self! that look helped him regain his sanity!!! ooo...can continue!!!
i think the first guy's (长老会中学, white specs sing 曹格's 背叛) voice is really like some alien voice, dam dam dam 难听.. dun understand why the judges think it's not bad.. ya unique, only he got tt guai lan voice, unique but like shit pls..
and he sing 背叛 COMPLETELY NO FEEL.. so dam wrong choice song.. alien voice sing 曹格's POWERPACK 背叛..
pls look at this imba 背叛 sang by this 蕭敬騰 (20yrs old only, dont complain, he's my new idol now haha)
3rd guy (sing JAY'S 枫) omg u siao ar? nv read my previous blog post izzit? 老师叫你别选实力歌手的歌.. 别选实力歌手的歌-别选实力歌手的歌-别选实力歌手的歌! 你没有在听嘛..
he's 枫 was kanasai (i bet u agree).. and before/after/during singing, he gave the omg-i-think-im-owning-jay face think he dam zai.. wah lao eh wake up la, ppl ask u dun choose lin jj song u go choose jay's song, nex one u choose 曹格/王力宏/david陶 song izzit..

i thought the 4th guy was very innocent lolx.. looks very 老实人, but to an extent tt he behaves abnormally.. (e.g. the way he walks up the stage, his stiffness, the way he talks).. but i thought he sang much better than the last time, and the performance was satisfactory..
no need to say, elaine on the girls' side owned like siao.. i thought she sang like how a professional singer would sing 'live'.. very good.. she's good at choosing her songs, this song is nice and suits her..
let's see who gets out~ i wld say the 不自量力 guy who sang cao ge's song lolx..
i have quite a lot to say abt this yr's campus super'star'.. especially after watching monday night's performances (turned out to be a huge disappointment)..
im going to comment lolx.. dun care if ppl flame~!
on the whole, this batch is quite lousy..
the girls are generally ok.. (much better than the guy's standard)
i thought the first 4 on mon night had the same standard and the last one (elaine from innova jc) was the best.. her 音质 really good, like born-to-be-singer kind, and 她的路线 (风格) seems to be like 梁静茹 kind..
1st guy (gan eng seng sec/只因为你/张栋梁) :
average singing.. nothing unique/special abt him.. easily-forgotten kind.. this song also doesn't bring out any 歌唱技巧..
2nd guy (st hilda's sec/原来/林俊杰) :
gosh, the judges' comments on this guy were the most unbelievable..
they actually said he's 歌唱技巧 was acceptable.. i thought it was avg and below singing, with his 拍子乱掉, really bad 音准 and 处理尾音方式 lousy (at least give some 斗音 la)..
it's not good to choose lin junjie's or jay's songs becos they r so good tt when u sing it, the audience tend to compare ur singing with tt of the original singer sub-consciously and u juz get owned becos they are professional singers and the songs have been carefully edited..
contestants will also tend to 模仿 some 唱腔 from the song (be it on purpose or not), resulting in loss of 个人风格, which was wat happened to this chap.. there are some r&b freestyle parts (expression of emotions~) in songs but tt doesnt mean u have to sing it becos they may sound very fake/unnatural (no feel~) juz like singing it for the sake of singing it..
although im from st hilda's pri, paiseh ar boy, dun support u hahaha..
3rd guy (public enemy aka the w*nker):

the more i think abt him the more i feel like puking, so keep it short..
he cant sing, his pitching was bad.. he cant dance, tried to imitate wilbur pan's mv dance move but end up squirming like got caterpillar drop down his back.. he speak/sing with accent think he pan wei bo, everything also wan to be like pan wei bo..
dun insult pan wei bo leh, the only person i think u resemble is mediacorp's ah ben..
and pls..

4th guy(男佣/吴克群):
he's juz an entertainer/joker..
for goodness sake, this is a singing competition and even though there's a need for a 完整演出 (i.e. stage presence, interactions, etc) we are not asking u to make a fool of urself..
how does this song display his singing skills.. i knew 1 week ago tt he's gonna screw up with this song when the song list was posted.. dun choose wu ke qun's songs pls..
and he doesnt look cute to me at all.. eeyer..
5th guy (love story/范逸臣):
wah lao cheater, i was like thinking "wah, love story, kee siao ar, so high key, muz watch how he sing.."
wah kao who knows he 降 key 降 until so low think 老娘 canot hear izzit~! my ah gong also can sing love story to my ah ma tt key.. and he could barely reach the 'higher' notes (relative to key).. 音准 was not good also..
can see that this year's judges are very encouraging lolx, standard also lower.. (all finalists shld have the lil' boy's standard!)..
and in fact this is one of the nicer pics from legend of the sea, cause i've seen worse in the trailer on tv, but can't seem to find them lol. to give you a rough idea, the background looks like they aren't even rendered.
wanted to put a picture of shrek 3 for comparison, but much too depressing. its a wonder why IDA continues to put so much emphasis on animation. maybe its time we moved on...
and i heard this is a multi-million production too. i think a sufficiently skilled 3d artist can probably do better than this at home with his pirated 3dsmax
well, so class cip has ended a few days ago.. it has been quite a different and nice experience... hmm, dun expect to go into much details bout the camp tho.. quite lazy haha... i guess i learnt quite a lot from this camp, matured a lot also (though im not really sure on that LOL..)
i was a group leader, and that being said, its not a very tough job, and not a easy one at that. still have to hand it to the exco people.. i think they got the hardest jobs... oh well... hmm my group was quite a nice one.. dun have skrued up people like ______ ____ and ________ lol... oh and no, thats not refering to any of the gls XD
i'm not sure if the kids really really learn anything from this camp.. chances are slim.. to them this might be just another camp, tho different, but just another 1 to play arnd and etc. i really really hope they learned something from this and excel in the future.. they really have great potentials... no, like seriously. amazed me totally =D
hmm i dun really miss them... not like some other people.. who feel nostalgic and made a crossword puzzle out of their names.. XD haha.. i guess im not one who is easy in getting emotionally attached... well.. not within 3 days tho. ah well.. dunno if i will go back to see them again... most likely not haha.. unless they plan everything out and we all go down tgt as a grp.. that be nice ^^
on another note, mon-thurs had 01 batch outing... like finally haha... me ongneh sirui and daniel went early to catch pirates... quite machamp confusing, but yea quite funny... the 3 of them spoiled the movie for themselves by reading wiki.. i think thats helpful, if not u 90% cannot understand movie.. so ya.. they sit back and enjoy scenes and action.. den i juz huh? wtm? lol
afterthat had that good old heart warming, batch bonding LAN session.. ahhhh nice... BF2, dota.. all in the menu =D. this time more man came.. dylan, james, hiok, betawesh and paul.. yep yep, later headed down to RI for annual camp thingy, played soccer in the dark, played bridge, watched a bit of the campfire.. den the rest zhaoed while dylan sirui xj and ongneh came over my hse for stay over
watched anchor man, legend of jon burgandy. lol damn funny!! =D then played cards, t0ked k0k etc.. and juz sleep, sleept all the way till 2 in the afternoon lol.. but thats frm 430am tho XD

oh yar, regarding the story thing.. try not to add ur personal comments half way like willy did, make it more professional looking lol.. AND CAN ALL OF U STOP ENDING ON SOME SUPER VAGUE CLIFFHANGER?!?!?!?! liddat how to cont.. no 1 wants to actually take a step INTO the story.. all keep adding new characters and ending off with like "then he saw this guy staring at him" wahh end.. -_- lol... all waiting for people to develop.. dunno what to write, den juz keep adding stuff to be developed, but not developed
"Well, nice to meet you, Quinten," the man smiles, then continues, "and as you would not have known by now, I'm Niveus Incendia. That would be Mr. Niveus for you. I'm rather famous in this school compound as well, and you will learn in time to come. Now would you hurry back to your seat? We haven't got all day. "

The lesson proceeds quietly. No one falls asleep, but none seems to be responding either. Quinten's interest is waning. His new classmates are like inanimate objects, not worth the attention observing them, and he had already learnt what was being taught. Quinten idles on.

The school bell went. Mr Niveus left. Finally, the end of lesson. Quinten looks around once more. There was barely any emotions, especially odd for a class of young adults.
His classmates filed out of the classroom quietly and orderly. None of them even bothered as much as to give Quinten a glance. This is something refreshing for Quinten ever since his new found abilities. He looks at the row of "objects" walking out of the classroom.
Quinten turns away, and starts to pack his bag. However, this is not before something caught his eyes. Before the last person walked out, he turns to look at Quinten. Nothing written in his eyes. Emotionless. He turns back and continues out of the classroom.
(lol, so long no one continue the story, so here's the long awaited part 3!!)
[Chapter 3: The Introduction]
After what seemed like ages to Quinten (somehow this name just reminds me of harry potter...heh), his keen senses finally picked up the soft tapping of shoes along the corridor outside. Indubitably, the footsteps were heading towards one destination, the opened door of the classroom.
Within moments, a tall stout figure appeared in the doorway, pausing momentarily to quickly scan the classroom. His sharp bright eyes immediately picked out the figure of Quinten and gave him him a mild smile.
What struck Quinten immediately is the the man's face. Though his face reflected a look of a man in his 30s, his head was a sea of white. As his smile widened, Quinten noticed multiple wrinkles forming, though minute, clearly indicated that this man has been through too much for his own good.
(oops, seems like i've deviated a lot from what i wanted to say lol, just check the title, anyway...)
In a fluid motion, the man's mouth continued into a shape of a cheerful announcement "Hi class, we've a newcomer today, shall we invite him to introduce himself?"
Even before the man finished his sentence, Quinten was already right next to him looking at the class with a smug look on his face. If there's one thing that Quinten wasn't good at, it's hiding his arrogance.
"Good morning everyone, i'm Quinten, many of you would probably heard of me, since i was top of the Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics Olympiad in the last term. My specialties are well... everything. For those foreign scholars, do not hesitate to speak to me in your native language, because I'm highly proficient in Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Korean and even Martian. Not that i'm boasting, but i'm so good that i've been expelled four times last year for being too much of a genius! Which is the reason why i've come so far away from my home to this place to further my education. Hope that you people would prove to be more of a challenge to my intellectual threshold."
Silence. Quinten bathed in it as he bowed, a gesture of showing off his courtesy rather than being courteous. It always prided him to elicit a non-response from his audience to his jawdropping achievements. If arrogance could be measured by the Richter scale, the earth would be quaking off its axis from his speech.
-Yawn-
The act was soft, yet it echoed through every corner of Quinten's head...

lol, hopefully its not too shabby. i took very long blogging this! 没有功劳，也有苦劳! well guess we can see where all this is going. hope its fine. anyway i took very long to decide on this so actually i wanted to blog even before the SAT one! but cannot think of the story, so never blog. sorry dudes =D quick quick continue the story heh.
anyway a bit less about the story, went for NS med check up today. FOUR HOURS!!!! hell long. for those who's going. try to reach at like 8.15 or 8.30 then won't have to wait like 10000000 hrs for the x-ray. no, going at 9 won't work either, i know, cause i went at that time.
and everyone make such a big fuss about the check on your little brother. heck, the check was less than 2 secs. anyway its partially so long cause theres a supeeeeeer long IQ/psychometric test. lol, its like taking SAT all over again.
and hey! i'm PES A! Maybe can become sniper! commando. naval diver.... (ok can someone break my arm so i won't be PES A.... GG)
