haha! im guest-posting! so fun!! =D

okay this is bel/annabel/wtv anyway. haha. and dali's helping me post! (okay duh) haha.

since dali is too lazy to blog about today. i shall kindly help him do so.

today i had training and den pw meeting and den pw op rehearsal! =_= 5.5 hours of pw fries your brains. yea it was very boring that we were finding really random stuff to do. but anyway not important.
we kinda decided the day before to play bball after pw. den so since dali's name is so nice to call, me and gerard and james decided to call him that at the bball court, since yan an was gonna play with us! whee =D dali didnt want us to kachao him so he ran off to the bball court first, which wasnt a smart move at all cos that means when we reach the bball court we would have to shout really loudly for him to hear us =D haha so fun. then we did so and went "dali dali dali~" (x999^999) hoho. and of course yan an joined in =D

lol. and well we played bball. there was me jonjon yan an vs dali beedict trixie gerard. whee. 3v4. at first my team was getting owned =( lol. den after that we turned the tables over! it took quite long for us to actually start the ball once (apart from starting it right at the beginning lol) but yea haha we started owning! =D quite fun after the 3 of us managed to work together (: maybe it was cos the other team was tired. but haha oh well. dali says he gave chance. but no lah. i pro-er den dali how he give chance to me. haha =D. but quite fun! cos yan'an would go intercept or qiang all the balls outside the circle, like when ppl were clearing, den me and jonjon wait inside for ball to come. haha =D. and we did alot of nice rolls so it was very fun also =D

hohohoo. okay i am in too good a mood. whee. anyway after playing we eh. played some abc. dali kept moving from 1st to 3rd point and back and forth cos he keep airballing. im not gonna talk about how i fared whee. and i still havent seen the 'aiyo' thing. or whatever punishment. you all can do your punishments in front of me wohoho xD

okay i am getting bored of this. haha. well after that we play until tian hei (sky dark) den went for bubble tea and dali wanted to play truth or dare really badly! (okay not really badly). go figure why ;)

p.t.m cum baksetball lolz

one of my very few typed out post.. haha normally is cut and pastse quotes or post videos hahaha..

yesterday parent-teacher meeting! i was reminded on friday night regarding the ptm.. then my mother sleep liao so i set alarm clock 8am but she dunnoe so turned it off the nex morning~ 烂掉.. then i woke up at 10am but the meeting was supposed to be at 9.30am lolzzz check hp.. 2 miss calls and 1 voice message.. the voice message is that kind where u call liao then u dunnoe already reach voicemail and continue to wait.. so only got background sound lolz.. hahaha i honest boy, smsed teacher i overslept then he replied "only ur parents need to come" hahaha.. lolz then i say i escort mother go ma ;P but then go sch have to wear uniform, or else wear homeclothes dam extra.. haha so i thought go sch wear uniform dam watse chance (as in have to wash even go sch for half an hour), might as well do something in sch, so asked chin nam wan to play basketball or not cos i rmb jason teo wants to own him on ptm hahaha.. while waiting for reply i brought my pe kit along first lor.. then chin nam juz woke up haha and his ptm at 1.45pm.. man late.. but can la, after i have my lunch lor.. so he asked around for bballers to turn up..

luckily i didnt get own for ptm.. after tt went to have lunch with mum at j8 lor then she go ah ma house while i stayed back to wait for bball ppl..sian so i juz go back j8 see mei mei la hehehe.. but weekend got lesser ppl than weekday lolz.. dali arrived shortly.. like man fast.. i juz entered gv toilet when he called to ask where i was (he at mrt station).. then i wash hand he already at the urinal 5m away.. like LOL.. hahahaha

then on the way to sch met up with jeremy.. before that i called chin nam twice then he rejected the calls.. after tt he called back and said he toking with teacher and parents so cannot reply.. actually the teachers tok to parents only ma.. then chin nam explain say his father guai lan want him to be there hahaha... kana owned..

we played bball from 2+pm to 5pm.. quite tiring especially when u are in the 2-person team since 3vs2 cos dali's class one girl joined us :) dali dam man during the games wor.. 飞轮海 ar.. hahahaha fly here fly there and quite accurate somemore.. keep 秀ing skills wor.. share drink.. *这时候情不自禁自禁地想唱暧昧* hahahaha and his specs like dropped out 4-5 times.. ohh ya we also learned a new skill from her called dig.. proves tt basketball is not all abt height hahaha.. after tt the 4 of us went j8 to get some small bites becos the 3 of them going home to eat while i had to eat outside myself.. bought some stuff then settled down at kfc then jeremy juz zhao-ed.. while queueing at kfc got few guai lan ppl keep looking lol.. the person who served us was some small kid and he man generous give like one handful of sauces and one xtra cup of pepsi hahaha.. talked a bit at kfc then go home lorz!

KBox/pool outing wif 6a

hmm, on friday, the day after last day of sch, the deepavali replacement holiday, me tong jere xiaole+changrong(who were man late), sabbie and bernie went to cine's kbox to sing... well, first time kboxing with pple other than the brudderhood...

felt quite weird la.. as in dun feel at home.. cause cannot gei gao and stuff, if not very malu mah... den aiya.. not very nice.. din really sing very openly den become super suck, keep on pit ceh while trying to sing out loud and hold back at same time lolx... so din really enjoy myself la, also never got to sing much of jay's new songs.. hmm muz try nxt time~ and oh wow, chang rong can sing so high haha, and xiaole no lah, u dun suck can, stop saying u suck... i suck way way more mebe... hmm din catch bernie singing much though haha... mebe she dunno how to sing the song? or shy bah haha... muz sing more nxt time wor~

oh ya and i must applaude tong hin... he came despite not wanting to come in first place due to saying he cant sing... well, he came and he actually sung some songs, so yep not bad... u shld be more open lah... its not like we are ge shens.... it wasnt that bad was it? haha.. oh and grats to u for singing wu ding duet wif sabbie ^_^

haha after k boxing, went to walk arnd and meet up wif wanqing and aggy... who were like 1289374289374923 hours late for their movie, so in the end no movie den they juz ate at bk.. so we went to k pool after that.. opened 2 tables.. 3 at 1 table and 4 at the other... the 4 gals and the 3 guys la basically... so played a few rounds 1v1 wif tong and jere, while gals played 2v2, den swap players and teamed wif tong and jere seperately to whoop the gals lolx...

hmm but super long no pool le.. deprove a lot.. all the slices not as accurate anymore.. ): and k pool so ex T_T but the balls damn nice and shiny =p haha i ment new lar... and yes, pool balls, not whatever man u thinking of.... den later on pool queen yuru joined us oso... hmm.. oh ya word of advice... the gals, they cheat... haha XD like xiao le: "ehh, not counted! try again pls pls pls" haha.. den aggy will juz cut in ur game and shoot ur balls and enter the que ball lolx... but yea quite fun lar overall...

then elaine came, but not enuff time to play, so din play.. we wraped up and everyone left, leaving elaine, tong, jere, yuru, me and bernie to walk arnd... den yuru "forgot" to eat and randomly walked to the random longjohn silvers and ordered some random fish wrap to ease her gastric pain.. haha.. so me tong yuru and elaine ate, jere koped, and bernie juz pei us... haha what a nice person, at least she doesnt KOPE... lolx.. not that im complaining.. my food wasnt koped.. poor tong hin haha... but dun need worry.. he store a lot of food in his cheeks =)

after tt yuru and elaine zhaoed to play arcade, and me jere tong went home lo haha.. yep thats the end =) had a nice time.. hope yall did too...

oh yar.. nxt time, try partyworld not kbox yea? the brudderhood shall go snoop arnd there and give a nice report comparing both~ stay tuned!

ABC........Zzz

Wah today tio sabo-ed by chin nam and jere... use some wierd bball that i never use b4 then continue with the ABC game that we left off with on Wed..

Jere was at 1-point place, then chin and I were at the 2-point place... So Chin decided to show some of his tyconess and first turn clear 2-point place.. then he miss.. then 2nd turn he just own us silent 3-pointer..

Well nvm, as long as i win jere i dunnid to do the punishment (repeating aiyo 30 times, sounding like an idiot..) so still ok bah i guess?

Well.. i bet they realli sabo-ed me... jere also clear his 1-point place in the 1st or 2nd turn.. then i also clear my 2 point.. then jere clear his 2-point too..

So we both reached the 3-point.. Then tyco-ly i shot it in!!!! So to be fair to jere, he had a try to tie-break.. and he got it............... Wth.. But nvm, i might still win him...

So now.. it is jere's turn to shoot in the 3-pointer.. then it is my turn to tie-break.. So i took my time to aim.. bounce abit.. then i shot...

And it was an Airball.. wad a empty bread(direct translation from chinese)..

Ok nvm lar, at least there's 2 other ppl doing 30 "aiyo"s with mi.. Jere and Chin and Me.. Yan An was the pioneer in doing it btw.. So.. hope we can find a time when nobody will be on the bball court and quickly get our aiyos done =)

Keep trying

today went climbing at yishun safra. had pw dry run so went a bit later than the rest. reached there to find that theres a 25m and a 18m wall and a bouldering gym! wooooo!

for those who did rock-climbing, today i didn't do a normal climb, i climbed a chimney, which looks something like this

learnt quite a few things today

1. Try and keep trying, if you fail, continue trying. You may end up bruised and battered, but you'll find its all worth it when you attain your goal.

wah the chimney climb was like man, damn hard even at the start. and damn painful cause friction is the only thing between you and the wall (barely anywhere to stand!)

got damn a lot of abrasions, but never gave up. even if the numerous wounds on me, i still think its worth it!

2. If you are caught in a tight spot, just squeeze and squirm, you'll get out somehow (literally)

some parts of the wall seriously damn squeezy, like just nice for the width of your body. can't even move around properly, but after damn long of squeezing and wriggling, finally made it out!

3. When you're down and out, your friends are there for you

climbing the wall was really damn tiring, pressing your hands, legs and butt against the wall to stay up there is really crazy. there were many times when i kept wanting to give up, there was even once when i was going to say that i'm falling. but constant encouragement kept me going on. thanks guys, wouldn't have made it without you.

4. Whats holding you up, might be whats impeding your progress too (or vice versa, up to how you look at it lol)

up on the wall, friction is mainly what is keeping you up on the wall, yet it prevents you from sliding your back higher up the wall, which can get really frustrating cause you are just stuck there, unable to progress. so sometimes you should learn to let go so that you can finally move on.

5. Bathing with wounds all over is a painful experience.

one word, f.

6. Santa claus is some rock-climbing pro.

wah i think greatest accomplishment in my rock-climbing life. after a long time of squeezing and squirming and rubbing my ass against the wall, i finally conquered it, all 18m of it! wooooooooo!

ok on to a sad note, pw is screwed =( boo hooo dieeee dieeee dieeee, no hope liao.... ok this paragraph seems to contradict everything on top *cancels out paragragh*

Woo no title!

woo sexy! today supopse to end at 4 today, but hari raya eve, so raufie end sch at 10! wooo no phys lab!! yeah hahaha.. end at 2.. woo.. ahBoy yue wo go play bball haha kewl... hmmm wad to do nowadays.. wad movies arh?

hmm caught death note le... hmm yea.. wanna catch prestige... anyone? ): lonely boi here sobs sobs... haha oh yea... btw k box has a promotion!! it ends at 31st of october (soon!) its for k lunch.. k lunch usual price = 9+++ but now, when u call in to book 1 day before hand, u get discount! becomes 7+++ woo! cheap!~ haha.. so before this month is up, we muz go!! yeahhh, miss k-ing so much le bleh...

oh yar reminder... now me and jere owe 30 aiyo~s for losing in bball ABC haha... gunna challenge everyone one by one, den slowly the whole tksspm need to aiyo~ haha kewl...

Applying wad u have learnt

Lol, went to watch Death Note today with the brudderhood. The movie is totally different from the manga, and the plot is quite nice also lor. So for all the ppl who havent watched it yet, go watch. It should be no.1 on ur priority list, just like how Eng Wah is always first on weep's priority list and rock climbing on willy's.

Lol Yan An, u seriously missed the good show sia.. Right after u left the train today, we got to apply critical thinking that we just learnt from the movie lor..

Nk and I were toking halfway then was abt to reach the next train station (the one after Toa Payoh, wadever it is..). This Malay 30+ yrs old guy walked up to us, holding a handphone with a black screen in his hand.

Then he suddenly ask Nk: "Are u shortsighted?"
Then Nk was like quite stunned and replied "Yar"

Man: "Can i borrow ur specs for a while?, i nid to sms my wife"

Nk: "Huh? U want me to help u sms?"

Man: "Err.. dun nid lar.. its something quite personal"

Nk: "Aiya nvm lar, i help u sms lar, this kind of problem nothing d lar"
(Im sure Nk act so beng)

Man: "Err no lar i quarelled with my wife, then i want to sms her lar but i shortsighted so cannot see lar.. If u are scared that i will take ur specs then i sit beside u lar"
(Yes Yan An, that's the seat that u left empty)

Nk: "Err cannot lar.. I also nid my specs lar.."

Then the guy looks quite pissed off, then he tried his luck with some guy opp. us and then some other guy beside the empty seat that Yan An left behind (Yan An all ur fault lol) and then he went to another carriage lar...

So where is the critical thinking part? Nk and i were like toking abt the incident then Nk suggested that maybe he's like trying to con Nk of his specs lar.. Then we were like cannot be wad.. specs can sell how much lor.. but it is still super suspicious.. cause he didnt even ask how many degrees is Nk's specs..

Maybe.. just maybe he was aiming for something else.. but wad can he be aiming for??? u ask for specs then next u ask for someone's wallet??? cant be wad

So we were like brainstorming.. short sightedness.. sms... personal... then I just suddenly got it lor..

He was aiming for Nk's handphone.. (Just a guess lar, maybe he realli only needed the specs)

It all sounds quite logical lor.. I mentioned that he was holding a handphone in his hand
just now wad.. and it is quite wierd for someone not to switch on his handphone when he's outside.. somemore when he was quarreling with his wife..

We figured that if he just come straight up and ask for handphone, no one will lend him his handphone.. so to make it more convincing, he nid to pretend that he din expect to borrow someone's handphone to sms his wife.. and by borrowing Nk's specs.. Nk will feel more obliged to lend him his handphone too (song fo song dao xi).. and since he also has Nk's specs as hostage, Nk probably cant refuse to lend him his handphone.. But luckily Nk din lend him the specs lar..

The next point is that who will be so insincere to sms to apologise to his wife? Must call instead wad..

And... he sounded very suspicious when he said it is something personal and dun wanna let nk sms his wife for him, it may just be his ploy to not let anyone noe beforehand that his hp is not working..

So we concluded that he wanted to con Nk by doing the following:

1)Borrow Nk's Specs
2)Act as though he just discovered his handphone died on him or no batt.
3)Borrow Nk's handphone
4)ZHAO!

Well that was our conclusion lar, after applying critical thinking on our everyday life..

On a sidenote, Eugene im sure u never even reply me when i sms u to ask if u going to watch deathnote with us.. u zai diao.. next time i probably will just ignore u

Reflections

well, since i had a complainin post, i figured i shld hv this sort of "post mortem" thing and reflect abt my gegao-ness, after all it is like the in thing now with all the chemistry reflection and all collection of all the promo paper...

1). i realised that wad puts as homo sapiens on a higher chain of evolution is our opposable thumbs...our uniqueness is because of our opposable thumbs which allow us to carry out multiple tasks which would be otherwise impossible...yup, my right thumb is quite fei now since i cant exert much strength with it...i even decided not to bring my bottle simply because i hv no way of opening it in the first place...

2). my bball skills fell like 75% without my right hand...i din realise how impt my right hand was in my game -.- ....it is like how difficult to 耍帅... heh

hmm... well.. i figured that i shld blog cause i felt that i havent been contributing much to the blog posts recently.. so yea... i mean... why not.. im bored not anyways... bleh.. hmm so lets talk about smth.. hmm what shall we talk about.. hmm okay.. haze!

wah.. i think the gov really some cover up manly.. the haze like looks so bad larh.. like psi 2348971 den sometimes say not even over 100... like seriously quite bomb... i think they scared pple scared haze make them spoil, den dun go work den economy bao zha or smth.. hmm cunning manly... aiyar.. really hope haze goes to 200 and above... wanna re-live the memories of floating among the haze clouds of 1997 when PSI hit 226 haha.. wahh.. and dun wan go sch oso... dang... u bloody indonesians.. do job oso do half way... want to cause haze muz cause some manly choking hazadous haze wad.. why juz make some small puff of smoke to irritate us.. might as well dun do it at all.. wan do muz go all the way.... tsk

oh yar.. that little haze really quite irritating... cause its not so bad, so we still go and play bball.. den play bball in the haze until wan die.. man tiring... what the man... if oni the haze was soo bad, then we wouldnt even play at all.. gah...

aiya moving on to a more serious tone... i think my results seriously spoil... lol im sure so suck... muz really buck up le during hols... den bleh still muz go for so many remedials... like man... den wah today went to see ms tang for some long chat.. quite bomb... but shes very nice luh... haha... never own me... really appreciate it... will work hard de.. that brings me to this.. YZ and ahBoy! we muz man our studies okay.. wtm.. cannot continue like this... though im the one saying this... i bet i will be the least motivated 1.. as usual -.- haha... but yea.. muz push each other... seriously... nono really.. like SERIOUSLY!!! gah

The Results of "Gei Gao"

for those who do not noe alrdy, "gei gao" means sth like being extra..i think..

see..it was a happy beginnin...a simple class cycling trip on saturday which has a superb low turn up rate..nevertheless five of us, namely ChangRong, Sabbie, Tonghin, Chin and me, still turned up for this fun filled and exciting day at East Coast Park...working our legs a bit...though not much... HEALTHAY LIFESTYLE. avoid sushi buffets, slp early, wake early, go ECP cycle.. :)
side note: if u eat too much and feel sick, does pressing ur thumb or pokin it with a pin helps? sth along tt line

anw, for those who did not noe.. i onli learned to cycle last december. havin looked at tonghin insistin tt it is easier to cycle while standin..i decided to mock him by zippin pass him and stand up..acting all mighty and mockin him...so that was how it started..well, tonghin returned the favor though there wasnt much diff b/w him sittin and standin, and more imptly he was complainin tt it is very tirin though he cont to out do me...

so after the break and on the way back to return the bikes, we resumed this mockin spree..it was den i decided to grind his rear wheel and ended up slidin on the floor after a failin attempt to come out of the grindin position...real dumb..my t-shirt is totally dirtied and i looked like a dork...had a few small scrates on my left hand, and left knee...amazin enough my right knee was unscathed and my chest skin intact, pays to wear good quality t-shirts..but my right hand was badly injured..there is this approx 2cm by 2cm wound on my palm

i cant bathe properly, cant brush teeth properly, CANT PLAY MY COMP PROPERLY, (the wound is somewhere where ur hand wld rest on the mouse), cant hv my meals properly, anything tt involves water became a painful event!! i cant exert much strength with my index finger and thumb..it sucks..

so...with no superb phone and lousy digicam which prog is not installed yet nor will it be...there are no gory pictures...dam....
satruday : all bloody and plasma filled...whole wound is just..open
sunday: part of the wound closed up, but the stupid meloin which is not supposed to stick kinda sticked and pulled some of the new skin off.. most of the new skin kinda died formin this cone like structure with hell lots of plasma oooooooooozing in the mid..
monday: i just took of the bandage..and it looked like raw meat..its bloody red..still sore..on the bright side, some thin layer of skin has formed over the whole wound...

argh~ the bulk of this post was typed with one hand!!!!!!
moral of story: dun geigao...
(currently, im tryin to push the blame on Chin who grinded my wheel when i was learnin to cycle...givin me the idea to do so on tonghin...and ending up in this sorry state....den again..nah...)

ps: when washin the wound i made no noise....however tonghin was like going "ssssss..sssssssss.ssss....dam pain la" while holding the tap for me.... o.O

Really once in a blue moon sia... hahah sorry sorry but I always happen to find something more important to do. Erhem. Don't know whether you all agree on the importance part but probably not but no matter, everybody has a different viewpoint :) In any case, I have really gotten my ass off the bed this time so my blogging momentum should continue from now on.yay.

Haze

Doh. Whats a singaporean blog post nowadays without some kaobeiing about the haze. Read something in the papers today that said that living in hazy conditions like this is equivalent to smoking eight cigarettes a day, and inhaling a billion suspended particles. The news reported that more people are staying at home because of the haze but no leh. Yesterday I went to Vivocity and the bloody place was PACKED.

Next time go Vivocity must remember to bring a camera, because the only uncrowded place is the area near those guys dressed in strange yellow suits whizzing about on motor scooters. They would be quite cool if not for the fact that they scream "Welcome to Vivooooooooooooooooooooooooooooocity!" every few seconds and don't keep giving weird smiles and say "You are very pretty today!" (they said it to my sister).

There are a lot of shops there that I haven't seen before also, like what pull and bear, utopia and don't know what la. The Tangs is mother big, so I didn't explore that, leave that to another bored day. And the hypermart hasn't opened yet I think.

And damn the developers of vivocity, don't they realise that we teenagers hold great consumer power? Where is the lan shops I ask, where is the bowling alleys I ask again. And tell me why your stupid arcade does not have house of the dead 4. Why why why. Its an instant U grade for any arcade which does not have any hotd. And the grade applies to the mall also. Don't they know people judge malls by their arcades???? At least get some newer machine... your latest game can't be time crisis II what. Sheesh.
And did I mention the arcade is only 1/4 the size of their Toys R Us. Okook will stop kaobeiing.

Otherwise its a shopping haven, even all the normal 'branded' shops like giordana and hang ten all have funky new clothes and designs not available at other outlets, man I need new clothes, bought one but still not enough.

Er back to the haze. Just watched the news, reported that business for VCD rental shops have been increasing. Makes sense hor. I also borrowed five vcds the past week. Then the reporter went to some vcd shop to interview the shop owner and customers. Everybody was like saying yeah borrow vcd to enjoy during the holidays, exams over need to relax a bit. Then got this guai lan mother said she came to borrow some educational vcds for her kids. Like wtf. Imagine this.

Mother: Hey boy! Look what I got here! I know the haze is very bad now, you cannot go out and play but don't worry I have a superb treat for you!
Son: What what?
Mother: I borrowed The Ultimate chao ji Britannica All in one Encyclopedia VCD and an additional bonus cd on How to Make Learning Grammar Easy! Enjoy watching it ah.
Son: @#$%^&*^%&*

Omgness Who goes to a vcd rental shop to borrow those ghastly cds?! And there was no need to add in the word educational. The reporter was just asking people what her family does when the haze gets bad. The family can't be watching educational videos every moment when there is haze. Show off la ba, then next day all the gossipy aunties would come and praise her for being so responsible and being such a perfect role model mother after they saw her on tv.

Gastric Flu

Hai suay suay suay. I tio gastric flu last Sunday. Haze + gastroenteritis is really jia sai la.

Tips on how not to anger a person with gastric flu

1) Don't send an sms to an infected person and ask how he or she is doing and then say "Alright! Just don't pass the flu to me!"
2) "Don't come near me!"
3) "Don't talk to me!"
4) Is it contagious?

And my reply would be (insert middle finger)
Seriously la, why can't people be a bit more sensetive? FYI, it is highly contagious only when the person is very ill, and when the person is very ill, he or she would be groaning and rolling around in bed clutching their stomach and not go to school to see your sorry face. Otherwise, you would only be infected if you share food and drinks or if you engage in snogging.
And it only causes inflammation of your large or small intestine (suay suay both), not any other horrible things that some people think -rolls eyes-

So this stupid virus kept me awake for the first 2 nights of the week, so Asif and Bennett kindly found me something to do at night.

Sigh, too bad it kept me preoccupied for every night of this whole week. It was simply wonderful. I think the trademark of a good writer is to keep the reader addicted to their stories and to make them keep coming back for more. This guy not only did that, but he transported me to another world where I lived in suspense every minute wondering whether Harry was going to shag this girl or die in this encounter or survive the next one. Yeah and you have to declare whether you are above the age of seventeen before you can read the story.

Excerpt: She moved her hands to his ears, tracing them dreamily while they continued to kiss; the tickling sensation electrified all of Harry’s senses and he clutched her even more tightly. And any story that has to have such a disclaimer is fun to read. /gg

Putting the fugly book cover aside, I am really amazed at the amount of effort that the author put in. Hes bloody doing it for free. Yet he researched his materials carefully and managed to come up with a product that rivals or is even better than the JK Rowling one. The characters and the story in this book may not be real, but the emotions, feelings and ideas going into making this story are. The characters in this book are fleshed out thoroughly. I think it would be a long time before I forget them. Now that I think about it I didn't really waste this week away, I went on a wonderful journey instead =)

Hmm, sigh. Its been 2 days since I finished all 3 books, but I still do feel a bit empty inside. I hate the feeling that you get when you realise that you will never be able to enjoy something so good again.

I guess old habits die hard.

Had to run all the way to the cinema when I overslept for my nap in the afternoon.

I think it was a good choice to watch it today, I don't think I would have the mood to watch it after I get back my results.

Oh man can't believe I didn't know about Death Note until I downloaded the anime. But I don't think I would have enjoyed the movie in its entirety if I read the manga also.

The movie is damn niceeee and 2 words: Farking cunning.

The twists and the characters and the plot are all damn unexpected, if you never read the manga. Can't wait for the second movie.

And i foresee an increase in demand for the death note notebook. I saw it being displayed in comic connection but i thought it was just a gimmick playing on the manga's name. I swear if somebody starting writing in a notebook like that in front of me I am going to faint. The notebook is damn cool la, I wonder if they have the rules in front. I'll check tomorrow.

cleanup

wah, 4th post in a row liao, i'm on fire! (no wonder psi so high today)

ok back to the main topic. after the huge war with adwares and viruses, i finally triumphed! (i think) cleaned up me com totally, ran virus scan like 4 times today.

but my com isn't the only thing i cleaned up. i cleaned up my room too! wooo!

after surviving many weeks of dirt and filth and papers flying around the room, i finally picked myself up to pick up all the rubbish. i cleared my floor, arranged my shelves, wiped the table etc etc etc.

sneezing like crap throughout the cleanup. i think my room is possibly the only place that beats the psi 100 today. its hard to tell you how dusty the room is, but i'll try. just imagine, if dust is pink, my room would look like its straight out of the witch's house in hansel and gretel (candy floss? >_< ok, damn lame but you get the idea)

for the 2nd time in my life, my room is clean! (first time is before i moved in) except for that sore area in the corner of my eye... my brother's stack of papers. gonna make him throw them all away when he comes home!

i swear to keep the room clean and tidy from now on. sick and tired of my sloppiness and messiness. must start thinking of the consequences before i do anything stupid. like having to clean up eventually if i mess up my room. today marks a new start of my life! wooooo!

i'm never going to spend another 9 hours of my life clearing up my room liao (even longer than openhouse clean up lol, like 4 times longer). haven't bathe yet, gonna change my bedsheets then bathe, cya!

we were under heavy bombardment. amidst all the haze, we started retaliating against the adware...

first i tried to use ad-aware to remove the adware files. after a long time of scanning, i found out i can't delete them. why? cause you can't delete active files!! if its not active, why would i want to delete it?!

next i tried to download hijackthis to close the active programs so i can remove then. went to google and keyed in hijackthis and hey! where did my firefox window go? tried with ie, same thing happened. seems like adwares are getting pretty advanced. so got ackerley to send me hijackthis. then realised i couldn't open the winzip file. so went to right-click on the file to unzip it. and then realised that i can't bloody run hijackthis! so went into safemode and ran it. closed the active programs and ran ad-aware to delete most of the adwares. wheee! finally they are gone!

restarted computer, and what the aff?! the popups are still appearing. so went to download spybot and ran it. while scanning, i thought maybe cause my zonealarm firewall died some time back so my com very vulnerable so went to dl the zonealarm suite. wow! it comes with an anti-virus too! so conveniently went to do a virus scan. results were really astonishing, there were 2000+ infected files! all this while i had mcaffee protection on! WHAT THE AFF?! how did 2000+ files on my com get infected while mcaffee did/said/knew nothing? even the mcaffee files were infected -_-

die, i see system files infected which cannot be cleaned. who has windows xp cd to lend me? though so far no popups has appeared since i restarted my com (a calm before a storm?)

my heart goes out to all the applications which died during the course of the war, namely spywareblaster (now renamed spywareblasted), mcaffee (executed personally by yours truly), googletalk and numerous other files which have fallen to the dark side.

i would like to thank all those which stuck with me through the entire battle, even though i would probably eventually lose the war as many of the key players have already fallen into their hands, namely ad-aware (fired from army), spybot, zonealarm and hijackthis.

today was open house. really bad, so few ppl came, and com sci booth was located in some ulu place. i think no one would have noticed even if we didn't put up a booth. advertisement for open house -> failed.

at night had dinner with the np ppl and reminisced the crazy times we had. woo chiao and gem (is this how you spell her name?) was there also. ordered sui bian for jason, who seemed to be the only guy who enjoyed the drink (contains coffee, plum, etc, etc, etc... and looked like sewage)

then my com bomb, kena some adware shit. adaware can't remove cause its freaking active wth. i wonder who are those idiots who use adware to advertise. YOU COMPUTER MAY BE INFECTED! oh wow, i wonder who infected it. stupid ppl.

and yizhang, stop asking me who that guy is cause i'll never tell you

Rojak

after a looooong period of inactivity, i'm finally back! there was many times i felt like posting stuff but just didn't have the mood to do it. now i've managed to get into that mood so here goes.

went for outdoor buffet last week. probably the most unique camp experience i've ever had. our main campsite was at changi coast adventure centre (if you go east coast, face the sea and cycle all the way to the left until you reach the end of the cycle path, cycle on somemore and there it is). quite nice there la, had rock walls, challenge rope course, kayaks, dorms, toilets.

first night was night cycling. i wonder how many ppl noticed that i didn't mention bicycles up there. and bicycles don't cycle themselves to your doorstep even in your dreams. so guess who had to get those bicycles? yes, us. 7/8 of us had to transport 53 bikes from the east coast food centre to just beyond sparkc (maybe like 5km or more). though its really handy to have a lorry to help us ferry the bikes... is what we had hoped would happen.

Step 1: Initiation
Night Cycling -> No bicycles

Step 2: Propagation
a. Squeeze 5 ppl into ms lim's car and drive down to the bike shop
b. Cycle like mad back to the campsite.

then a, b, a, b, a, b, a, b.....

Step 3: Termination
Ms Lim engages fisherman returning home in his LORRY
must have been quite traumatising (enjoyable?) for a guy to be confronted by a woman at night, along the road, on his way home "hey, are you free?"

ok that only covered 14 of the bikes, so we still had to transport about 30+ bikes by leg. (great thanks to the nice fisherman, and ms lim's charms lol)

and i learnt something new there. i can't cook to save my life. i can cook to suicide though. must learn cooking soon!

immediately after outdoor buffet was ccal conference. we were grouped together in smaller groups to have "cca bonding". so each group had about 6-8 ccas, and part of the aim was to let clubs which are likely to liase with each other to know each other better.

and so being in computer science club, i was grouped together with raffles dance, chinese dance, lion dance, malay cultural club (has dance), indian cultural club (has dance) etc. a really great arrangement i think, i mean, com sci is so likely to liase with them! (anyway, the real reason was mr low forgot to group me so randomly assigned me to a group that happened to be standing around)

then yesterday went to james house for sleepover (mainly cause the next morning had meeting in his house).

grace rocks! she made me realise how stupid i am by showing me brushes in photoshop. i am owned. supposed to do photoshop, but ended up playing half a game of mahjong, watching mr and mrs smith and stoning the day away.

my sleepover is seriously sleepover, after watching mr and mrs smith at around 12am, i went to sleep while the others went to play mahjong and dota. had to sleep on the floor cause got girls, then they kope the bed!!!!!! but something i found unbearable for the sleepover was that one guy went to squeeze with 3 other girls on the bed. maybe i'm more lao tu, but i still think that its not very decent for guys to squeeze with girls on the same bed. nan nv shou shou bu qing!

and last topic of the day, h3. to all you nus h3 econs wannabes, unless you just want a decent grade and nothing else for your h3, do NOT take it. even though its MANAGERIAL ECONS (WAAAAAH sounds so pro), its basically called market structure in our notes.

everything we've done so far has already been covered in our h2, cept the calculations. although our syllabus probably took out the calculations cause its so easy!!! (at least for demand and supply curves). to illustrate my point, i shall use the homework assignment we went through today....

ggxx, my com with the qns is sent for repairs and hasn't came back yet. and i forgot my account password for the nus webbie, so will have to wait for a few more days for the qns to be uploaded. ok until then....

ok sorry, not the end yet. perhaps some of the readers would have realised a missing portion in my post. what happened to the bikes after night cycling?? notice that i used the word night and not overnight? so night cycling ended at 11pm. thankfully everyone cycled the bikes to the bicycle shop and walked back to camp (long walk away). end of story? no~, tell me, which bike shop is opened at 11pm?

that night, 3 ppl didn't return to the campsite. namely me, shawn tan and ms lim. faithfully guarding the 53 bikes until 9am when the shop opened. fine, i confess, i'm the only faithful one, while the other 2 are the guarding ones >_<. we agreed to take shifts. then ms lim and shawn tan couldn't sleep, so being such nice ppl, they didn't wake me up and just did the sentry themselves... and i slept faithfully through the night.... =( ms lim and shawn tan, really nice ppl. (damn, i must be a real pig to sleep so well even on a concrete bench outside the bike shop with the tree exfoliating on me and mosquitoes sucking me dry)

felt that 2 people go shop for books damn sian.. so called tong n ask him come down to orchard to join us and shun bian inform others too... but he say need tmd 1 hour to reach orchard.. cause he need to wax his hair wif some substance that would take some time to produce... heh... den wtm.. so me and ahBoy went to shop first lo...

ah boy like man.. bought 2 方文山 books... (he's the writer of many of jay's songs like fa ru xue etc) and oso bought some taiwan fashion mag haha.. den 1hour plus later tong, ben, wy and jere arrived... we stoned arnd a little, played wif the book searching machine and den zhao down to look at the mooncake exibition.. den mum bao zha called ask me zhao home for dinner... but wah man sian.. im sure the whole day never do nething.. so smart jere suggested we go chinese garden to 赏月 lol.. quite man..never try before ma...(lol actually sounds quite 娘) so agreed lo.. den called rest of tksspm to come down... den i zhaoed home to eat steamboat dinner

after dinner chiong back to mrt to zhao to chinese gardens.. quite a big turn out.. there were ahBoy, jere, ben, wy, tong, dali, eugene and me! haha quite cool.. but manly nk say too ex dun wan come.. im sure.. den willy mum dun let and weeps most fei say tired dun wan.. wtm.. watch out...

so quite man.. bought the 10 bucks tix (cause eugene brought some lao pok ntuc card which is so ancient cannot use for discount.. fei) and went in.. what the man... the haze that nite was like 140 ++ den bao zha.. no moon.. im sure 赏月... fei... but neway, it was manly crowded lar like 17823617823 people on 1 mm square -.- lol.. den all thoes dumb shit people still light sparklers and candles... MAN MAN MAN MAN MAN TMD HOT LAR... sweat like some water bomb.. wtm... juz melt lar... we walk arnd guai lan, took pics of the mini wonders of the worlds lanterns thingies... but the pics quality quite fei la.. cause no 1 got digi cam.. den use my 2 meg pixel cam.. like man.. no flash some more.. + the haze juz makes things more man...

so we lalala arnd and bomb hot.. lucky found some icecream stand selling quite cheap icecream, so went to cool off for a while, before we started melting again... lol the best part came when we went to climb the 7 stories pagoda.. quite tiring.. i think cause manly stuffy cause loads of peeps and oso cause haze make us harder for these climbing stuff ba... although climb 7 stories all the time in sch... haha... the view was not bad man.. haha... can see the haze and stuff.. and the lights etc.. cool... so that was out final stop lar... after that we zhaoed out.. and me jere dali n ben decided to stay over at wy's hse, while the rest zhao home...

went wy house stone.. watch my wife is a gangster 1.. and bai fen bai... den played some mahjong and slept haha.. i slept at 430 lar.. they more man dunno slp wad time.. but dali most man.. slept at 1.. cause nxt day got volley ball match ma... haha yep.. so yea.. was a whole new experience lar... but the tmd haze ruined it.. moon was suppose to be the second biggest in eight years time tt nite lor.. den in the end cannot see fei -.- haha...

and sia la.. i noe bery brief post lar.. but i really too lazy to go into details haha.. sorry ar.. haha maybe thoes who went wanna touch up? haha

neways.. yay! its over haha!! lets work on promoting now shall we? yep, after the last paper of manly hard physics on friday, we played some bball and went home to bathe.. that we meaning the few guys, marcus me jere n tong... met up wif the gals man coincidentally on the train to city Hall.. lol enter at the same carriage.. at first see sabbie head stick out frm the crowd to greet me haha cools...

yep yep, den went to city link to find aggy and wanqing, who were like shopping -.- ... but manly late la, so we sorta chiong to suntech, but were actually walking man slow haha.. den half way tru marcus called tong to ask where he was, den he panting like some man and was running to suntech.. haha man indeed...

catched miami vice, missed the first 10 mins... T_T but yea show was quite cool... all the blood spattering was quite nice and refreshing... at least its no mine splattering frm the 30 story jump least i fail my promos... yea the the 3 gals in front of me damn guai lan la lol... keep on turning back staring at us or someone else behind and dunno tok some qiao qiao hua.. -.- im sure they dun pay attention to the show.... den wanqing wearing jacket still kp very cold haha... n00b!

hmm after the movie we stoned arnd in the arcade, well the smart gals in sch uniform stand outside arcade looking sad .. dawww.. den we went seperate ways to shop.. hahaha.. guai lan marcus and wenliang went to some electronics shop there play the comp lol.. quake 4.. den marcus damn pumped up la.. wad a widdle kiddy.. den wen liang try act man, difficulty level choose general (max) den kena own instantaneously lol.... den after that zhao to look in adidas blah blah den went to splash and surf to look at wallets for tong and pants for wenliang, and clothes wif critique marcus... found a nice looking cap for me, but din buy... maybe nxt time ba...

went to take over xiao le and chang mama at the ridiculously long queue at NYNY... den after they zhao, we got free coton candy! haha kewl.. oh ya yuru left, and parker joined in.. well.. dinner was not bad.. food was cool, but tong hin the loser order salmon, which was some suck shit.. lol... like.. er... steamed salmon served with ketchup shid... $16.90 good job... oh and so sad, gals + parker were split frm the rest of the guys cause not enuff seats.. sux... cannot interact and talk T_T boo hoo... nxt time ba.. neway, overall was quite enjoyable and relaxing...
