1000 no kotoba

PLEASE WATCH THIS.

This song is titled sen no kotoba, or 1000 no kotoba, or 1000 words. originally sang by koda kumi in jap, english version covered by jade from sweetbox.

this is the english version. IMO the japanese version is nicer, but i needed this for the subbed lyrics so that noobs can understand and relate to. there is japanese version with direct english translation, but thats very raw, cause its direct translation, so the lyrics doesnt seem as beautiful. there for this one.

this is also the cut version. original version spans for 6 mins. i didnt use the original version one because its usually extended(video wise) by the fans, and the ending is not the bangbang(simplified so as not to spoil) scene, which is IMO the really stab u in the heart part haha. they have that like in the middle of no where.. which is lame. so yea.

after like more than half a year i still cant get over this song. its so touching T_T haha

for japanese version full version with english direct translation subbed , its this one

Long time no post..

Wah i long time never post already... Army had been so busy (yar right) that i have no time to blog lol

Anyway for those who still didn't noe, im in regimental police lar.. And its NOT THE SAME as military police.. Basically we "protect our airbase against conventional and asymetric so as to ensure continuous airbase operability" (wad rubbish lar, we are simply there to guard gates and to patrol)

For those who wonder how did i manage to memorise the motto (or was it vision?) of RP.. the reason is simple..... For every turnout, the sergeants will ask us damn alot of questions and if u answered wrong u just knock it down.. They can even ask u damn rubbish questions like the car plate license of the base commander or ur CO -_-" just damn alot of stuffs to remember lar.. Army is like so not degrading of ur brain..

Anyway turnout is probably the most fun thing in RP, they give u 1 minute grab all ur equipment and then fall in and report strength with EVERYTHING on.. They even turn u out when u are SLEEPING.. U will just see people jump down from the upper deck of the double deck bed and run, which is damn chaotic..

Anyway cant reveal much of wad else we do, cause information is quite sensitive.. Cant even reveal the timetable and the patrolling timings.. Just know that we do quite abit of patrolling lar.. Patrolling is like strolling around the base, which is freaking big..

Overall it's actually quite nice to be an RP lar, u keep in touch with news and the music scene cause the radio is ur best friend during duty (and PSP is ur best friend when waiting for duty).. And we actually have abit more free time outside base as compared to outside vocations, as to how much extra time i cant say (sensitive information lar)

Anyway i just need to endure the monotonous life for another 8 months and i will join Guard of Honour! (hopefully) Then the good life begins, we will have ALOT more free time than other vocations, as to how much extra time i also cant say (Dunno sensitive information anot, but scared u all jealous lol)

How fun lar GOH= march march march~
then if u drop rifle during parade= SOL
late for parade = SOL/DB
do major mistakes for the drills = DB (i tink)
faint on parades = DB
lose rifle when waiting for parade = can just stay in DB forever

SUPER extreme punishments, DB means u cant go local uni lor... Wth lar.. it's really with great risks come great rewards..

That's all about my vocation, basically just about security lar.. Anw my base is quite amazing, can walk around and see durian trees and mango trees and rambutan trees, and see beetles that sells for $600, see snakes, see wild boars.. Really i tink the zoo, night safari, and botanical garden combined pales in comparison to my base -_-" (Cant reveal my base too, sensitive sensitive..)

Life

Hi everyone! sorry for the looooong inactivity >_< Been quite out of touch with you guys since the appendicities saga.

anyway, appendicities seems to be long past me already, and now i've gone back to OCS in Bravo wing. About OCS... well can't say anything about it, very secretive nowadays lol, its just about as tough as i remember it to be. just finished my 3 weeks confinement though, hurray! now can finally see daylight once a week.

just watched black hawk down yesterday (after serving ns, i've developed an intense love of war films). i think its a great movie, a must watch especially for those currently disillusioned about ns. i guess it really shows how impt peace and stability is in a country. and after watching it, you'll definitely understand why we need to train so hard in army.

hows everyone doing now? we should get together soon! (both chin and jere sound so emo in their last post lol)

The Blues

it used to be the ever so common Monday Blues. in fact, they do not occur all the time. However, this is no longer the case. Monday Blues occur everyweek. Worse still, the infectious blues have spread over to Sundays. Any doctor can help?

life sucks more and more as i move into ea new phase...
the next phase is much more promising though...
hopefully, disappointment is not what awaits me...
