Outings
hi yall, here to update cause im immensely bored... everyone has finally gone in. the ocs pple came out last week too, which oni made me feel more lonely now that they are gone. as in u know... when pple are gone some time.. u sorta feel more or less used to it or maybe numb.. then suddenly they re-appear only to disappear a few moments later.. which kinda sucks... ok .. which totally sucks.well anyways, back to the update.
Last sat was chocolate shalom's bday, and the gals planned a picnic at sentosa for her! well, was supposed to emet up at 2:30.. so i was like.. hmm.. well, they are CONFIRM gunna be late.. so say i reach there arnd 3.. that shld be just right~... Alas i was wrong. at 3, i only saw elaine there -.- haha.. oh xiaole was on time, but with her parents in vivo apparently.. wanqing and bernie arrived at hmm iono 3:30? not sure lol...
well, since shalom was supposed to come at 4, we had to hurriedly go get some candles and foodstuffs, and of coruse her pressent... which xl and wq went off to take care of. me bernie and elaine went to giant, which was really quite GIANT (the basement anyways) to shop for the grocceries...
met the rest at club marc, including jem aggy and cr. saw xl trying on some jeans... i was like "hmm? are u getting thoes for shalom?" which came the answer duh, not. haha.. she was shopping for herself! ah well, gals~ shopping wherever they go haha.. but we got shalom a handy dandy handcarry bag anyways, quite pretty.. aggy got 1 to match too lol..
off we went to board the monorail to sentosa! the gals cam whored muchly... i was pretty much their camera man lol... and it was really quite hard to take fotos in a moving monorail.. lol.. and WOW sentosa has really changed a lot! last time the monorail stop was just a monorail stop.fullstop. now its like.. a mini shopping mall lols. ok la.. not really.. the stop itself oni had a starbucks attached to it.. but nearby and surrounding were lotsa other shops.. hmms.
well so we proceeded to head for the beach. we could have settled for some where near and more quiet, but ms aggy chewy wanted to have an adventure! she wantedto head over to this bridge which was connected to a mini island... xl was like saying "can someone please tell her the bridge is DAMN FAR?" lol which was quite funny... then there were a lot of arguments on how we shld juz settle down and some on how we shld find a more picturesque spot... well... nothing was kinda decided but we kinda started walking towards the bridge. twas quite a trecherous journey lol... with the sand feeling kinda crappy because it rained bomb heavily in the morning.. i was found stepping on very uneven sand which varied in texture.. some parts fine and soft some parts coarse and clumpy (wet) lol... not gd for my leg.
well we finally reached the bridge area, but to much horror, the bridge was closed.. aggy's idea of heading across teh bridge to the mini island den to the top of the tower on the island to have our picnic was dashed. we walked for nothing! but it was really a gd idea actually.. i wld love to have went up the tower.. moar wind less pple moar scenery.. LESS SAND/MUD/GRIME ON MY GROUNDSHEET AND MATS. haha
well too bad then... and damn.. the area arnd the closed bridge was so crowded! i swore if we have given up walking further and juz plopped down right there.. our faces would become frisbee/ball magnets. needless to say flying sand particles. so we headed further up a bit.. found a nice and even lvled spot.. and layed open the mat and sheet. put our stuff. and wondered what to do.
surprisingly, i dunno which gal said "lets go make sand castles!" um.. ok.. lol.. i was thinking.. no tools? o.o how to make sial... well.. we went down to make anyway.. which resulted in a... round mound? lol... wq and bernie tried to bury my feet too...they wanted to bury my feet so deep that i couldnt get out of the heavy load of sand.. well.. they took pretty long lol.. and it was down on a slope.. so i had to phantom chair half squad the whole time.. which resulted in pretty soar legs i have now.. haha.. well.. and though i muz say they did bury me ALMOST knee deep.. but failed to keep me trapped lol.. like xl said .. "what a cheap thrill -.-"
well jeremy changed up and came to help with the sand castle.. but still there aint much that cld be done without tools lol... we pretty much added an inverted plastic cup mound on top of the round tortoise shell mound. thats about it.. lol.. well we got bored and headed up to the picnic grounds...
aggy and cr had gone off to take pictures and stuff.. we started to arrange the stuff to await shaloms arrival. the gals snacked, i sat. watched some random dudes playing rugby while the gals chit chatted.. jem went to fill 2 moar inverted cups of sand to make the outposts of the "mini segment of great wall of china"
soon shalom came! we ate the food. muz say xiaole's mum makes some great bee hoon. haha.. well i said "quite nice" xiaole said "what quite nice.. is DAMN NICE"... well.. ok fine. DAMN nice can? lol.. as i proceeded to grab more grub, changrong snapped at me "leave some for sabbie la!" like i was some greedy dustbin.. den i replied "yea.. she can eat this WHOLE box of things" den cr revealed her true intentions! "i also need to eat what! u all started without us leh!(her and aggy were still taking pictures before tt)" haha.. well now.. who's the glutton~ was quite full actually.. surprisingly.. lol.. after we(meNjem) were done with the food.. we decided to make a sand castle/cake for shalom.. since MARCUS didnt want to come, which made us have to celebrate the bday WITHOUT a cake.
now well equipped with forks and spoons, we set out to make a nicer sand "thing". the huge round mound the gals created shall become out building block. we cut terraces into the block, to make the mound into a layered squarish "cake'.. u know, somewhat like the cake bot in gunbound.. yea smth liddat... cut in some patterns, and i skillfully made staircase steps and a door. we put in 4 towers at the top of the castle cake and den placed tea lights on each of the towers.
although it was quite like.. not pretty but it was nice =) haha.. some malay girl came over and talked to us about it haha.. "oh someones birthday ah? oh 19th birthday?" pointing to the 19 sculpted on top.. yea we kinda said.. "wow so sweet" hahahaha.. ok.. nice response. we'll it was fun for us anyway.. so win win situation. got shalom down to see it.. found a few malay guys taking fotos with it o.o and muttering some malay words which i didnt understand.. but probably something like "wtm is this guai lan thing?" lol! well, shalom seemed pretty touched.. which is good yea.. den went back up to find sabbie has arrived... later than bday girl -.- tsk tsk.. well but she brought some pretty nice konyaku jelly. so i mercy her.
after that some gals brought shalom down to distract her while a few others went to make tea light formations in the words "happy 19 birthday" there was no "th" to the 19 i dunno why. they cld have changed birthday to bday to cut back on wastage of the tealights haha.. well sorry i wasnt there to provide the idea.. was doing guard duty with jem on the belongings.. t0ked k0ked a bit, before going over to help with the lighting of the candles... got on the sparklers and got shalom up.. put on the light show, sang happy bday.. haha.. nice albeit smokey... and shalom while trying to get away frm the smoke, kept backing up... she went further and further away, but the smoke was blowing in that direction.. which proved no help to her incessant koffing lol! -.-
had these malay guys help us take foto.. i lighted their cigs after that.. something jem calls symbiosis. word to that. lol.. well.. muz be quite a success.. shalom droped a few tears~ haha..
headed back to habour front.. sat down at some grand stand.. the gals talked bout uni apps and stuff.. while i stonned. found out marcus was at harbour front -.- that ass.. called him gave him a tongue lashing and owned his ass down to join us for a bit.. at least to wish bday girl well.. haha.. after that we went home on our seperate ways...

well thats not the end to the outing.. ongnardo came home with me haha... he was with the archers at harbour front too.. we got together a mini 01 supper gathering...
first time seeing the few guys.. ok fine.. oni psy and dan.. after their first book out frm the 3 weeks ocs confinement.. revitalizing t0k k0k sessions over bowls of scrumptious mee pok/kia
after that everyone went home. ongnardo went back to my home.
we had dota games tgt online..
and nxt day.. they were gone...

today... well technically not today.. its 3:10 am.. but aiya wtm... as i was saying, today, finally got to meet my platoon mates for platoon outing!
its their block leave now, as the new recruits settle in.. so they get 1 week off!
i really miss all of them so much! and so much has happened since i've been gone.. i really really dun wanna miss all that de... but this s2pid injury had to come.. which sucks bad. sigh.. i wanna go chiong sua with them! i wanna form close bonds with all of em, but this thing pretty much puts me out of action and out of contact with them.. so this outing was really nice to catch up with all of them...
im really happy to have such fun, hip and funny platoon mates... with special credits to my bunk mates who really care for me.
we had lunch at seoul garden at taka.. chewng wenzhao is the ultimate eater. he almost made seoul garden bankrupt. lol... and andy brought his gf along.. and wow.. shes a pretty girl.. haha.. lucky dude.
talked a lot, joked a lot, laughed a lot, ate a lot... basically made merry haha... johnnie was still wearing his super skrued up looking uncle shirt. -.- how to get gerry liddat sial! haha... really stunned to find my co-buddy, khai, charged for AWOL... wah... my bunk mate charged to 20 days in db.. that muz be shocking...
seetong still my best partner in crime as ever haha.. constantly preying on johnnie, making fun of him. but its all in a nice and frenly way la haha.. and i think he likes the attention a lot! HAHAHA..
honestly.. i really missed andy tho... never got to talk much to him as he was sitting at the other table... still remember how we sneaked over to falcon to raid the bunks for "treasures" when they were out for field camp haha! and going up to fifth floor to nibble on forbidden fruits. haha..
how he'd always bully me and me suanning him back... life in camp wouldnt be as fun without him... too bad the smokers always sit together.. ah wells
planned to go for pool after that.. some hopped into yin kai's mitsubishi lancer, while me and 6 others got into jeromy's 7 seater.. andy+gf on bike, seetong da rider on his kawasaki... haha they were like having a mini race.. damn siao. all these drivers/riders crazy one.. in the open road, not even high way.. cutting lanes and speeding liddat lol... the 7 seater was hella fun... jeromy playing heavy racing techno music with the windows down and wind in our hair haha.. quite cool... albeit all the cigerette smoke -.- cough cough* haha... wah in camp they get to smoke 3/4 sticks a day.. outside here.. they smoke like... NON stop. lol.. even saw ariff and shai smoking la. but ok la.. social smoke.. not addicts.
pool today was good. 遇强则强. many of them were extremely good! so i played pretty well too haha.. won 4/5 lost 1... to that idiot johnnie >:E grr... haha.. well, cld win a fair amt cause din play with andy and jeromy... they crazy 1... IMBA. like professionals liddat... start break.. dunnid wait ur turn, finish liao.. wtm. -.- now we know why andy kept suggesting to go pool... show off! oh oh and i juz found out this brand of beer.. hoegaarden.. its superb. top quality. never take carlsberg again. haha.. has this really sweet malty aftertaste.
after that most split up... me, seetong, johnnie, tai seng, ariff, aliff, shai, andy and gf went to bugis to shop shop walk walk after that... yea.. and then went home le.
