going potty over harry

don't worry all harry potter fans who have yet to read the book, you can read this post safely as there are no spoilers.

just feel that the world has gone too crazy over just a story book. to all those ppl caught on national tv crying when you got your Deathly Hallows, a reminder that it is just A BOOK, not money, not straight As for your A'levels.

no doubt its a great book, personally i've read to the order of pheonix, which kinda put me to sleep so i didn't complete the rest of the series. but bottomline, its still just a book.

queuing 24hrs for it is even more extreme than queuing for hello kitty toys la. after waiting like a thousand years for the book to come out, i'm quite sure you can survive a day or two more without reading it right? comeon, spending 24hrs on queuing, you'll get retribution for it lor (like falling asleep while reading the book).

i hope nobody kills themselves after reading deathly hallows ("omg! end of the series! noooo..... theres no meaning in life anymore..." *jumps*)

Suicide Round

hahahahaha campus superstar show was funny~

i wont comment much on the girls ba.. (nothing much to say, abt-the-same performances throughout.. a bit sian..) mayb cos girls' songs i not too familiar.. their scores are quite evenly spread out also..

the highlight of the show was the second half!! hahahaha full of ups and downs..

for the guys half, i wld say it's a Deadly Showdown! A showdown to see who dies first! hahaha.. more like a suicide round instead of a revival round..! lolx

cat-high-kok (当你孤单你会想起谁): lolx~! i wld say his pitching is second to xu bin's.. second lousiest! hehe.. his song dont need to say much la completely no feel leh.. i thought he deserved tt 13.5points hahaha can see his face was dam awkward like wth-i-got-the-lowest-score-ever-shit,-i-thought-i-owned-dam,-i-need-to-put-on
-my-sunshine-smile-and-wink..

during the first part of the show when they intro him (10secs) he didnt wink man, i thought wah good boy.. then im sure the LAST 1 sec before they changed angle he winked wah lao eh brother.. he dunnoe how many ppl 看他不爽 le leh.. i think one day when i walk to j8 i might juz see him get humptum by some bengs..

alien voice (忘记): haha i think we can 忘记 him forever.. heh cannot reach the high 真音 notes and screw up the 假音 totally.. he's expression of full confidence is irritating too.. sayonara boy~

ah 福 (爱爱爱): ooo i muz say he improved a lot since the first round, he did quite well overall in singing but still quite handicapped in stage presence..

xu bin (简单爱): hahaha i wonder who enlisted him for the finals.. any normal person can hear his really-bad pitching lolx.. i think he also knows he cant sing very well, so this time come back to boost his girlfriend's friendster profile views hahahaha.. can see his 不安 when singing.. 对不起帅哥，回娘家吧~ rjc's Mr Siva can sing jian dan ai better than u, u know! hahahaha..

tank-fan (给我你的爱): he got pretty high points but somehow i juz dont really like his singing.. i believe he sang tank's song again cos he scored quite high with 非你莫属 the other time.. but his key is so low tt most ppl can sing it with no difficulty (besides, tank's songs put emphasis on high notes) technically he's 发声 部位 is not from 丹田 but from his 喉咙 which ruptures his voice and makes it difficult to 假音.. (juz like wat happened to alien-voice) he was really lucky to be able to juz manage to sing it as he didnt sing as forcefully during the verses.. or else he wld have died like the alien-voice..

Mummy's Boy (木乃伊): WOOT LOLX he was fantastic, like totally! wad more do u want from this 13-yr-old boy! he juz owned the rest in pitching, song variation, style, stage presence, expressions and actions.. i wld give him 9 points relative to the rest, and 10points if im biased and want him to get in! wah lao he 13 yr-old only, no singing lesson beforehand somemore.. zai diao..

the first judge (who is always lenient) gave him 7.5 only lor, when li fei hui gave him 8+... then when the first few guys (who deserve like 4points and below) he gave them like 5.. perhaps i think he shld do tt la or else those ppl their marks too low no face..

In loving memory

today, we moan the death of the 80 year old angsana tree behind RJC. well, if you haven't noticed, since yesterday, the tree that watches over all ppl playing basketball and occasionally irritates them by sending dry leaves flying in their faces is GONE!

one can only take comfort in believing that it may have passed on to a better place, but we all know that it is more likely to have passed to a woodmill.

and the singapore govt still wants us to integrate the aged into our society, and here they are weeding out all the poor elderly. we know that all the pollution is causing harm to the trees and making survival a chore for them, esp for all the aged, but isn't euthanasia disallowed in singapore?

anyway, i read in the papers that the rationale was that the tree was dangerous to motorists cause it's smack in the middle of the road and no one heeds the speed limit imposed on the road. all hail the govt for making singapore roads a safer place!

i'm like: what the hell, its the tree's fault that ppl are speeding. now now, i'm quite sure the tree didn't want to be in the middle of the road. nor be rammed into and bloodied by some stupid speeding motorists. its not the tree's fault that we stupid ppl built a road right through with it in the middle? i know theres a lack of space in singapore, but i'm quite sure building the road 1 lane space to the other side wouldn't cause greater land scarcity on us right?

whats more, the tree didn't plan the layout of the roads, so chop the ppl who did! such a curved road is like to cause accidents to motorists than any tree.

besides, i'm quite sure a speeding motorist who doesn't follow the speed limit would have an equal chance of meeting into an accident at the road or anywhere else. maybe now we should ban pedestrians from walking on roads and demolish the fences and backgate of rj, and maybe that bus stop over there also to make the roads and EVEN safer place. heck, maybe soon they'll chop down all the trees in singapore to reduce motorists from knocking into them.

trees don't cause accidents, motorists who speed do, the position could have been well occupied by a car instead of a tree, and does that reduce the risk of an accident? maybe its time we imprison ppl who were robbed cause they were tempting robbers so that we can reduce crime rate!

i'll BET the tree was just getting in the way of development there, thats why they decided to chop it down. dangerous? just a load of boosheet. and i bet they deliberately built the road like this to give an excuse to chop the tree down!

singapore has no lack of buildings and roads, but we definitely lack big nice shady trees beside your bball courts. so city planners, do your job properly to minimise casualties, pls?

well, seeing as no one updates, i'll do it.. lol.. sounds so 勉强... but oh well... hmm but yea i promise this will be short.. cause this week nothing much happened ba...


lets see... oh yea, i took up acupuncturing sessions recently.. gone 4 times alr... its for my sinus, which is smth like nose spoil... lol.. like nose will be blocked most of morning and night time, when temperature drops etc... nose very sensitive, runny nose often ya.... hmm if im not wrong, a high percentage or kids and teens have sinus problem... yep... and i tell u, acupuncture is SUPER EFFECTIVE. i go to this acupunctuing clinic in geylang lorong 23 called 李金龙针灸blahblah smth liddat.... 4 session..... and i am already almost rid of my 10+ years DAILY problem... if u noticed, i used to be super noisy, blowing my nose or sniffing and stuff in class.. but NOW....... ok now still noisy, cause keep talking kok.. lol.. BUT, no sniffing!!! kao.. TCM ftw!!! so if u know anyone, or if u are personally plagued by sinus, then can go there, or can ask me more details.. really really really seriously recommend it.


hmm juz restarted playing bball today... went to shoot some ABC.. ok got back some of my 球感.. not bad.. willy oso smsed me said he misses bballing.. alright peeps, here is an appeal for all of u to start getting ready, bball season is about to kick off! yay.. ok hopefully la... super long no play, super miss it... try to bring pe kit every other day, if possible, everyday juz in case yep haha...


hmmm cts cts cts.. got same result as my j1 ct 1..... lol.. except GP got better this time.. hahaha.. crap.. shall not dwell on that... prelims... i swear... prelims, watch out.... ok shit, i still need pple to mug wif me and push me on... i super need pushing de.. argh. no self discipline. tsk.


oh yea, bought a 1gb memory stick pro duo and a new in ear sony ericsson earphones from farhan the online deal monger.... k la, the earphones kinda suck.. but YEAAA finally, music on the go after months!!! s2pid tong hin, sell me spoilt headphones adapter.. grr.. music has always been therapeutic for me... srsly dunno how to live without music... speaking of which... KBOX!! thats overdue... find time peeps. lezzghoul!
