Infatuation: Big word, simple meaning.
When I hear that word, I think about you.
I think about the way things are.
The way I wish they were.
I feel so foolish,
thinking about you.
Wondering if you're thinking about me too.
Watching you,
Hoping that as soon as I turn around you'll be watching me.
There is no point to my obsession.
All I see ahead is disappointment.
Is it purely superficial,
or does it go deeper than that?
Does any of it have meaning,
or is it just a waste of my time?
As I think about all this,
I wonder if I'll ever know you.
If I'll get over my fear and do something.
But what can I do?

Anime
well, not quite a post about any anime i've been watching (thats like none anyway). but about downloading anime. this is more like an update for those who haven't seen it in the news yet.
for all you anime junkies who's been downloading anime and yet to receive a nice little letter telling you to pay a 5k fine, well its time to stop downloading, esp if you're starhub and even more esp if you're a pacific net user!
i guess everything goes down sooner or later, such as internet privacy. think soon they'll have compulsory webcams compulsorily wired to the police.
first, crackdown on music, then crackdown on anime, next will be movies, pirated games, tv shows, blah blah blah... then i'll start laughing at the ppl with 10mbps connections and get some cheap 56k internet connection.
isn't it a wonder how ISPs keep providing internet connections with higher and higher speeds at cheaper prices? maybe its just that with all the crackdown ppl dl so much less that theres more bandwidth to go around. (though not like you're going to use it cause you're not dling anyway too)
good reason to stop watching anime and start mugging too.

SMU
went for the smu admissions talk today. smu sounds pretty good, their education is supposedly modeled after the university of Pennsylvania's wharton sch, top american uni for biz.
anyway, what i've been hearing about smu is getting quite scary. a friend's senior who has AAAB with good cca records didn't get into smu sch of biz! even though interestingly she did get into smu sch of law.
and according to the admissions officer, she said that the minimum requirement last year for majority of the faculties was AAB. plus, just last year there were 12k ppl applying for smu and they have only 1k+ places >_<. looks like its not so easy to get in after all!
oh, and if you don't meet the cutoff for A lvl grades, theres still SAT, which they will consider you if you score a high score of 2200-2400 (rather high indeed). maybe the admissions officer was a bit exaggerating, but well, you get the idea.
but there seems to be increasing incentives to get into smu. for one, last year's top 20% grads starting pay was average of $4.6k, and the really top ones are like $8k, $12k $_$
for all smu student wannabes like me, time to study hard! (if you haven't already been doing so lol)

昨天我又去了针灸。。。针灸完了，在出针的当时，那位医师问了我一个问题
医师：“你是不是有心事啊？”
当时我以为她只是随口问问，寒暄几句罢了，所以我就毫不在乎地说“没有啦”应酬一下。。。可是过了一阵子，那位医师便说了。。。
医师：“我看得出来你是有心事，有烦恼的。但是这不最近发生的一件事。。。因该有了一段时间了吧。”
我顿时无话可说。。。负了钱就走了。
在车上妈妈便对我说"有心事就因该说出来，不要一直闷在心里，很不健康的。" 我便回答"我知道。。。但是这是一个不能说的秘密。。。"
